How long will it take my child to learn to swim?

All children in lessons learn to swim eventually. Some children will learn faster and some will learn slower. We recommend that you enjoy watching your child learn and progress at his or her own pace and celebrate their daily achievements. When your child is ready, he or she will be tested and hopefully pass to the next level. Simply attending regular swim lessons and fostering a lifetime of love and excitement for a wonderful recreational activity and sport is a great reward!

How do I register?

Go to our registration page, answer the questions, get directed to your class options and select your class.

How many classes a week should my swimmer attend?

We have found that swimmers benefit most from a year round program of 1 – 2 lessons per week. Consistency over time makes all the difference. You wouldn’t expect your child to learn a musical instrument practicing for 2 weeks over the summer and swimming is no different.

What is the monthly tuition?

See our tuition page or classes page for a list of class tuition.

What if I miss a class?

Absences: Please use the portal to schedule a FUTURE ABSENCE for your swimmer, up to one month in advance. If the absence has already occurred, you will just need to schedule the make-up class through the portal as your swimmer has already been marked absent. You need to schedule your absence before noon on your lesson day to be eligible for a make-up class.

Make-Up Policy: To maintain the integrity of class content and size, we offer a maximum of one make-up lesson per month per participant, and only when available. Make-ups are not guaranteed. This time is set aside as an accommodation for you if you miss your scheduled lesson time. To receive a make-up lesson, parents must notify us before noon on your swimmer’s lesson day to be eligible for a make-up class. You will have one month to schedule your make-up class from the date of the absence and you can only schedule your make-up class up to two weeks in advance. If your swimmer is currently sick, please wait until he or she is fully recovered before scheduling any make-up classes.
If there are no available make-up times and your swimmer is not enrolled or has stopped with regular lessons, they forfeit any make-up. Parents and participants are responsible for remembering their scheduled make-up day and time. Missed make-ups will not be rescheduled again.

Do you offer a referral discount?

Should my child take swim lessons year round?

We have found that swimmers benefit most from a year round program of 1 – 2 lessons per week. Consistency over time makes all the difference. You wouldn’t expect your child to learn a musical instrument practicing for 2 weeks over the summer and swimming is no different.
