Is your child ready?
Our parent-tot classes are designed for swimmers age six months – four years. Every class is based on a familiar routine where swimmers are taught water adaptation and beginning skills using fun games and songs with the reassurance of a parent in the water with them. The goal is to help young swimmers feel comfortable in water so they can enter our Toddler program with confidence and beginner skills. Group classes are up to six swimmers (and parents). Classes are 30 min in duration.
Starfish - Beginner
Working on getting familiar with the water, submerging with assistance, floating and safety skills view classes
Seahorse - Advanced
Working on gaining confidence in the water, submerging without assistance, advanced floating, kicking and safety skills. view classes
TODDLEROur Toddler program serves as a transitional class from Parent/Tot classes and into the regular Learn to Swim group classes. Toddler classes are for children 3 years of age with up to two children per class and one instructor. A swimmer (age 6 months - 4 years of age) must first enroll and pass out of the Parent/Tot program to be able to enroll for in the Toddler program. Instructors will work with these young swimmers to gain confidence in the water and further advance in their basic skills through skill work as well as songs and games. view classes
Learn To Swim
Our "Learn to Swim" classes are designed for swimmers age four and up. Swimmers progress through seven different levels learning water safety and proper stroke technique in all four competitive strokes. Group classes are between two and four students per coach (depending on level) and private lessons are also available. Classes are 30 minutes in duration.
Jellyfish (Level 1)
10 bobs with head submerged and good air exchange view classes
Turtles (Level 2)
Front and back floats for 5 seconds with no assistance and good body position view classes
Pufferfish (Level 3)
Front and back streamline kickers with no assistance and forward movement and side glide off the wall view classes
Seals (Level 4)
Good freestyle arms, back kick endurance, side kick and treading water view classes
Stingrays (Level 5)
Freestyle with side breathing and continued endurance in back kick, side kick, treading water and somersault view classes
Dolphins (Level 6)
Freestyle with bilateral side breathing, backstroke, treading water and somersaults view classes
Sharks (Level 7)
Breaststroke and continued endurance in freestyle and backstroke and somersaults view classes
Our Pre-Competitive classes are designed for swimmers of all ages who have basic swimming skills or have graduated from our Learn to Swim program. Swimmers are taught more advanced stroke technique in all four competitive strokes as well as starts, turns and swim team etiquette. Classes are 45 minutes in duration.
Butterfly, open turns, diving and continued endurance in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke
Flip turns and distance in all four competitive strokes
Backstroke flip turns, distance in all four competitive strokes and individual medley
Our Adult classes are customized to fit the goals of each swimmer. Whether your goal is become water safe or learn the competitive strokes, we have a class for you. Group classes are up to four students and private lessons are also available. Classes are 30 minutes in duration.
